Participants will have the opportunity to delve into the art of pottery, guided by skilled artisans who share a passion for their craft.

Our current classes will introduce hand-building technique, allowing students to explore various styles and forms.

As students shape and mold their creations, they will also learn about the intricacies of glazing and firing, further enhancing their understanding of the pottery process. The environment is intimate and collaborative, encouraging dialogue and exchange of ideas among participants.

Each person will create a personal pottery piece, embodying their unique artistic expression. Join us in the transformative experience of pottery making, where raw moldable clay meets individual innovation in every new hand-crafted piece.

Join us on a guided hand-building pottery class where you wil receive 3 lbs of soft clay with tools provided. Follow along with the instructor in the making of a slab built cup/mug or work on your own handbuilt project. Come with your ideas ready, and bring any items that you might want to impress into the clay for texture and design such as leaves or patterned fabrics. Use your imagination, the sky is the limit! Your pieces will be dried and completed with the color of your choice (from available options), to be fired and picked up at a later date. (to be announced).
